but the dealer can still suck a tail pipe. what solved my problem you may ask. Well first I cut a wood block to fit around the flange but as soon as I heard cracking I put the car back down. I went ot the guy's house across the street and this solved my problem:
Now Im sure your asking who the F still has one of those and how did it help? Well its a slightly odd character and the jack was shaped so that it would fit around my flange. This Horizon was also the Hemi model (thats what the badge said however I have my doubts)
so now with the summers back on, i'll accept that spring is her, despite still having a foot or so of snow (the picture might look a bit over exposed next to the car but thats snow)

I'm so hangry right now. I was raging to myself bc the woman I was behind was going 40 in a 50 no passing allowed. She was delaying my work which delays me getting lunch.

You really, really should consider getting a floor jack. And a couple of jack stands as you should never rely on a jack alone.
A cheap jack from Harbor Freight should be sufficient if you're only using it once in a while. Definitely do get jack stands though, you REALLY don't want to put all your faith in a Harbor Freight jack. But jack stands are so simple, they're really impossible to screw up so cheap ones should be fine.

Glad your problem was solved.
PS: I love your generation WRX, it has one my favorite rears on a car. Those tail lights.

Lol thanks. Funny thing is the taillights are probably what I like the least. It's not bad on other colors but I think there is too much contrast with the black

I know I should. I've gotten away from doing a lot of the car stuff on my own. I always end up with a bigger problem and have to being ur to a shop anyway. I'm more of a wood working/ renovation guy

That's understandable because let's be honest, Subaru isn't known for their beautiful cars haha. I do prefer the tails on the lighter or brighter colored cars, I don't find the contrast with black too terrible but not overly desirable.

I used to live off that road. It happened everyday. Sometimes as low as 30. Occasionally I'd get stuck behind this guy on a moped. Long road with big hills. He could get up to about 35-40 down some of the bigger hills but struggled at 20 going up. He would swerve to keep people from passing him. He almost got run over by a guy who gave 0 f*cks about him, his life, or his moped but it still didn't stop him from doing it in the future.
